Eulogy
You are standing by my grave
And on my lips a smile:
Do you now remember –
We loved much – for a while.
To regain all those days
I'll rise and stand at your side.
Your heart still beats for me –
No more is there to hide.
And what about the flowers
Withering in your hand?
Slowly they lower their heads
Seeing your heart so rent.

אַתְּ עוֹמֶדֶת עַל קִבְרִי
וַאֲנִי מְחַיֵּך.
הִנֵּה תִּזְכְּרִי שֶׁאָהַבְנוּ
וְגַם אֵיךְ.
לִזְכֹּר אוֹתָם יָמִים יָפִים
אָקוּם לְצִדֵּךְ.
לִבֵּךְ עוֹד לִי רוֹחֵשׁ,
בְּאָשְׁרֵךְ אֶרְאֵךְ.
וּמָה עִם הַפְּרָחִים
אֲשֶׁר בְּיָדֵךְ?
אַט כּוֹפְפִים רֹאשָׁם,
עַל כִּי אַתְּ לְבַדֵּךְ.
מאד יפה, השיר והתרגום.
