It's an unsolved mystery<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

in every family's history<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

It happens on laundry day<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

When pairing socks to put away<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

You place them neatly in a row<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

so that their similarities show<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

But surprise what do you find?<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

There's rarely two of a kind<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

Each had a mate when put in<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

to wash and dry to scrub and spin<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

Then tossed in a basket piled high<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

with other items when all are dry<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

The pants, the shirts the underwear<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

are easily folded no worry or care<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

Yet always that missing hosiery<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

remains every family's mystery<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

Never to be found on the laundry floor<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span>and not under a carpet or behind a door.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span>There must be a planet in outer space<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

of one-legged creatures lurking some place<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span>to gather those socks not leaving a trace<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span>and loving that puzzled look on your face <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

So just tell your family and let them know<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span>that ankle or knee-high really won't show<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span>when worn under pants if the color is right <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

And might I suggest you only buy white.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n
